Whataburger Breaks Ground In Lindale

After years of searching for a suitable site in Lindale, Whataburger has broken ground for a new restaurant.  The site is at 311 South Main (Hwy 69), next door to the Kidd Jones convenience store and gas station.  The restaurant will be approximately 3,600 sq ft and will seat about 92.  The restaurant will open in about 90 days, or in mid-September.  According to Lindale Economic Development Director, John Clary, "We are very excited to see the new restaurant finally break ground.  It is one of the most requested eateries.  And that they are locating near our downtown is a big plus for Downtown Lindale too."
